All India Aga Khan Hockey Tournament to begin in Pune from July 3. As many as 40 teams from across the country will take part in the 106th edition of All India Aga Khan Hockey Tournament to be organised by Maharashtra Hockey Association (MHA) at the PCMC Poli Gras stadium in Pimpri near here from July three. MHA general secretary Ikram Khan today said that among the 40 teams, 12 are outstation teams like ASC Bangalore, Central Railway Bhusaval, Central Railway Nagpur, Satara Sangli, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji and Thane XI. They will take part along with defending champions MHA Hockey Academy and runners-up Vikram Pillay Academy (Pune) in the prestigious tournament.
”The MHA has also decided to host an inter-school tournament for boys and girls at the same venue in the morning session,” Mr Khan said.
