Thousand years of Islamic art

The peak of a flag from Iran, dated 16th century, in the exhibition Schaetze der Aga-Khan-Sammlung (Treasures of the Aga Khan collection) at Berlin’s Martin-Gropius-Bau. More than 200 items from Aga Khan’s collection of over a thousand years of Islamic art, with paintings, drawings, ceramics and wood carvings, from the 8th to the 18th centuries, stretched from the Maghreb and the Iberian Peninsula to China, will be on display till June 6.
