Spring Festival kicks off on May 6th World Arts Visit Three Arab Cities This Year Cairo – Alexandria – Beirut Programme inclused Roger Assaf, Benjamin Zephaniah, Omar Sosa and music from central Aisa Culture Resource presents in cooperation with Shams Association, with the support of Egypt Tourist Authority and Foreign Cultural Relations Sector in the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the fourth round of the Spring Festival from the 6th till the 26th of May 2010.
This year the festival will be held in Cairo, Alexandria and Beirut simultaneously for the first time. The festival will present a large group of artists and authors from 15 countries presenting their work for the first time in Egypt and Lebanon. The opening concert of the festival will feature two distinguished musicians from Central Asia; Nodira Primatova from Uzbekistan and Homayoun Sakhi from Afghanistan. The concert is supported by The Agha Khan Music Initiative in Central Asia and will be held on Thursday the 6th of May at Prince Taz Palace at 8:00 PM.
