Aga Khan University Holds Advanced Diploma Graduation Ceremony

One hundred and sixty-three students were awarded diplomas in a graduation ceremony held on May 22, 2010 at the Gymnasium of the Aga Khan University Sports and Rehabilitation Centre, Karachi.

University Provost Dr William Doe delivered the welcome speech at the event, which recognized graduands who completed academic programmes offered by the University’s Institute of Educational Development, Centre of English Language, the Human Development Programme and the Department of Educational Development.

Chief Guest Ms Nafisa Shah, Chairperson of the National Commission of Human Development in Islamabad, encouraged graduands to become innovators in their professional lives.“Now as you graduate, one of your goals should be to lead the change process rather than to be led. You should implement what you have learned and your practical work should inspire others to join you in the change process,” said Ms Shah.
