World Partnership Walk a Huge Success

While the funds are still being collected, the World Partnership Walk last weekend raised more than $4 Million leading up to and on Walk Day. A group of 27 TLC staff and members turned out and raised over $2,000 in Victoria and Vancouver to take steps to end global poverty. Given the track record of the Aga Khan Foundation of matching donations 5 to 1 that means we helped raise about $12,000 toward relieving world poverty.

The next World Partnership Walk events will take place this Sunday, June 6th in London, Montreal and Saskatoon, and the following weekend in Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa on Sunday, June 13th. For more information contact the World Partnership Walk organizers.
