Stampede BreakFast: Achievement Through High School Project

This year, the Ismaili Muslim Community and United Way of Calgary and Area have come together for a multi-year partnership to make an even greater contribution to Calgary’s future. Our Stampede Float and Breakfast event are dedicated to the United Way’s Focus on Achievement through High School program. The Stampede float will be decorated to highlight the importance of high school completion for overall lifetime success. We know education provides people with the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to fully contribute to, and benefit from, society. The partnership will promote high school completion as a necessary precondition for the pursuit of higher learning and the key to economic productivity, health and well-being, civic engagement, and quality of life. Through education, Calgarians can reach for the stars.
