CPLP: Foundation Aga Khan Development signs a protocol of cooperation with countries lusófionos

Luanda, 21 Jul (Lusa) – The Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) and the Foundation Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) today signed a cooperation protocol which aims to improve the quality of life for people living in vulnerable contexts in Lusophone countries.

O protocolo foi assinado pelo secretário executivo da CPLP, Domingos Simões Pereira, eo representante da AKDN Portugal, Nazim Ahmad, em Luanda, em véspera da VIII Conferência de Chefes de Estado e de Governo da CPLP e sob o lema “Solidariedade na Diversidade”. The protocol was signed by the Executive Secretary of CPLP, Domingos Simões Pereira, Portugal and the representative of the AKDN, Nazim Ahmad, in Luanda on the eve of the Eighth Conference of Heads of State and Government of the CPLP and the slogan “Solidarity in Diversity”.

O protocolo foi assinado depois de obtido o consentimento dos oitos Estados membros, através dos seus Ministros dos Negócios Estrangeiros, eo objetivo é promover a cooperação mútua entre as partes em vários campos relacionados com a melhoria da qualidade de vida de populações que vivam em contextos vulneráveis em todos os países da CPLP, em particular aqueles onde a AKDN já está estabelecida, nomeadamente em Moçambique. The protocol was signed after obtaining consent from the eight member states, through their Foreign Ministers, and the goal is to promote mutual cooperation between the parties in various fields related to improving quality of life of people living in vulnerable contexts in all countries of the CPLP, in particular those where the AKDN is already established, particularly in Mozambique.
