The Aga Khan University Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (AKU-ISMC) is pleased to announce a lecture and discussion about its Muslim Civilisations Abstracts (MCA) series, to take place at the University of Edinburgh on 30 September 2010.
The MCA series is one of three series of academic publications published by AKU-ISMC in partnership with Edinburgh University Press. The MCA series functions as a set of innovative reference catalogues, comprising annotated bibliographies and abstracts that showcase the dynamic diversity of scholarship taking place in Muslim contexts, whilst also making accessible to scholars, students and the public at large the plethora of existing scholarship about Muslim civilisations.
Series editor, Dr Aptin Khanbaghi, will speak about the series, including the first volume entitled, Encyclopedias about Muslim Civilisations (October 2009) and the forthcoming volume, Interpretations of Normativity: Law and Ethics (2011).
