Aga Khan University, Pakistan: Seminar on World Tuberculosis Day 2011

Karachi, Pakistan: Every year tuberculosis or TB
consumes an estimated 1.7 million lives worldwide. World TB Day is thus an
annual reminder that this infectious disease is still alive and a lot needs to
be done in order to completely eliminate it from the planet.

To commemorate World TB Day 2011, Aga Khan University
Hospital is organising a seminar on March 22, which will highlight the various important steps that need to be taken
for the prevention and management of TB.
