Aga Khan University, Pakistan: International Day of Action for Women’s Health 2011

Despite the challenging times in Pakistan, various individuals and organisations are collectively responding in innovative, courageous ways to defend and claim women’s reproductive and sexual rights as “universal, indivisible human rights” in the country. As a step towards the same, Aga Khan University (AKU) is holding an ‘International Day of Action for Women’s Health’ on May 28th, 2011, to raise awareness about the urgent need to safeguard women’s reproductive health.

Women health experts at the Seminar will be speaking about menopause, cervical cancer and urinary incontinence, also addressing common issues such as troublesome pregnancy and birth after caesarean section.
