The Aga Khan University, Pakistan: Epilepsy – A Treatable Condition

Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is organising a seminar on Epilepsy – A Treatable Condition on May 25th. Epilepsy is a brain disorder involving repeated seizures caused by sudden changes in the brain’s electrical activity. Besides the physical effects of seizures, epileptics can also experience changes in attention span or behaviour. The seminar will bring together health experts from AKUH who will speak on: Epilepsy is Treatable, Mood Disorder and Epilepsy, Surgical Treatment of Epilepsy, Nursing Care of Epilepsy.
