Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) is holding a seminar to disseminate the results of a baseline survey conducted by Strengthening Teacher Education in Pakistan (STEP) Project. STEP aims to improve the quality of elementary education; to strengthen the professional development of teachers, teacher educators and education managers and to integrate gender equality in its programmes in order to help reduce biases that exist in the system. Mr Muhammad Siddique Memon, Secretary, Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, will be the Chief Guest.
